What are the types of ceramic materials for ceramic valves?

The emergence of new materials allows the valve to have more choices in the selection of raw materials, and the diversification of materials also makes the valve performance different. In this regard, today we will talk about the constituent materials of ceramic valves. As we all know, the manufacturing materials of ceramic valves are mainly new ceramic materials. The manufacture and use of ceramic materials can effectively increase the switching frequency of the valve, improve the performance of the valve, and prolong the service life, which is inseparable from the type and performance of the ceramic material used.      1. The ceramic valve uses ordinary ceramics. Ordinary ceramics used in ceramic valves refer to ceramics sintered with clay, feldspar, quartz, etc. as raw materials. This type of ceramic is hard, oxidation-resistant, corrosion-resistant, non-conductive, and low-cost, but this type of ceramic has low strength, heat resistance and insulation properties are not as good as other ceramics, ceramic valves using this type of ceramics are often used in engineering and technical requirements are not high in the system.

2. The ceramic valve uses common industrial ceramics. Common industrial ceramics used in ceramic valves include architectural ceramics, electric ceramics, and chemical ceramic lamps. Electric porcelain is mainly used to make porcelain insulating devices for electrical isolation, mechanical support and connection. Ceramic valves are mainly used in chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical industries and other industries.

     3. The ceramic valve uses special ceramics. The special ceramics used in the ceramic valve are alumina ceramics, which are also called high-alumina ceramics. The main component is alumina containing a small amount of silicon oxide. Its strength is higher than ordinary ceramics, high hardness, good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, long-term work at a high temperature of 1600 degrees Celsius, good corrosion resistance and insulation properties, but low toughness and brittleness. The ceramic valve can effectively make up for the shortcomings and play a good use effect.
